Casa Sol y Luna is situated in the quiet Arboleas neighbourhood of El Prado, in Almeria province. It’s a peaceful and safe residential area where you can unwind while still having plenty to see and do.
If you don’t fancy taking the car out every day of your trip, you’re in luck. It’s just a 30-minute stroll into Arboleas village from Casa Sol Y Luna, with much of the journey covering a beautiful section of the historic Via Verde; the Almanzora Valley greenway. This popular walking & cycling path follows the old railway, and extends for more than 60 miles in total, if you’re feeling up to the challenge…?
Arboleas is a bustling little village with everything you need. There are local tapas bars and cafes, a small supermarket, medical centres and chemists, banks, and more. We recommend heading over on a Saturday, when the market is in full swing, but there’s never a bad time to wander into the village.
Heading off on foot in the other direction, it’s just 20 minutes to La Cinta, where you’ll find some local Spanish bars overlooking the Rio Almanzora. It’s great for sampling some authentic sangria!

How to get to us
From Almeria Airport
Take the A-7/E-15, exiting at junction 682 in El Pilar. At the roundabout, take the A-334. Continue on A-334 to junction 76. Take Calle Carril to Calle La Via.

Follow the RM-16 to the RM-601, and get onto the RM-2. Join the A-7/E-15 towards Almeria. Take exit 682 for the A-334, and follow directions above.

Take the N-338 to the A-70 and AP-7. Exit at junction 138 for the A-7/E-15. Come off at junction 682 towards Albox, and follow the directions above.
